The depression over southwest and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal has moved west-northwest. The depression was centered about 380 km east-southeast of Trincomalee (Sri Lanka) and 610 km east-southeast of Karaikal (India).
It is expected to move westwards by January 31 evening and cross Sri Lanka coast in the forenoon of February 1.

There will be relief from snowfall in the hill state

Rain will continue in southern states

Rain and thunderstorm warning in Rajasthan till Tuesday
