Pakistan Cricket Board was accused of denying NOC to the players for participation in overseas T20 leagues. On Tuesday, former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi spoke about the issue of NOCs.
He said there is a need of an association of their own that could voice the opinions of cricketers in the sub-continent country.
Afridi said Inzamam-ul-Haq and Mushtaq Ahmed had wanted the formation of one but the board never agreed.
Afridi further said that board has always tried to please the captain.
“I won’t take any name but the Pakistan Cricket Board has always tried to please the captain. The same thing is happening with Babar Azam as well. Players still have problems,” he said.
“The players will agree to what captain says. If the captain asks players to sign on something, they will. Pakistan need a players association,” he added.
