Mohammad Rizwan Breaks A Big Record Of Virat Kohli, And Equals To Babar Azam In T20I

Pakistan after batted first and scored 158 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 7 wickets. In response to this target, England achieved the target in 19.2 overs for the loss of 4 wickets.

Rizwan scored 68 off 46, his 16th T20I fifty as Pakistan registered 158 on the scoreboard batting first. England were able to chase the total in the last over with four balls and six wickets to spare.

Becomes Quickest Batter Along With Babar Azam To Script 2000 T20I Runs

Pakistan wicket-keeper batter broke Virat Kohli’s record yesterday, as his 68 off 46 balls helped him breach 2000 runs in the shortest format of the game as he shares the record with captain Babar Azam. He has now become the 4th Pakistani batter to achieve this feat and more than 85% of his runs are coming since January 2021.

Rizwan achieved this feat in his 52nd T20I innings thus equalling Babar’s record. India’s Virat Kohli and KL Rahul are third and fourth on the list as they reached 2000 T20I runs in 56 and 58 innings, respectively.
