3 players from J&K get a bid at the IPLAuction2023:
1. Vivrant Sharma sold to SRH at 2.6 CR
2. Avinash Singh sold to RCB at 60 lakh
3. Yudhvir Singh sold to LSG at 20 lakh
Umran Malik and Abdul Samad are already at SRH. So, a total of 5 players from J&K will be in IPL2023
The mini auction for the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) season ended after a record-breaking day in Kochi on Friday. All the 10 franchises of the IPL combined to spend INR 167 crores to rope in 80 players, 29 of which were overseas. England all-rounder Sam Curran emerged as the most expensive player ever at an IPL auction when Punjab Kings brought him for a colossal amount of INR 18.50 crore. His compatriot, Ben Stokes was roped in Chennai Super Kings for INR 16.25 crore while their Australian counterpart, Cameroon Green was acquired for INR 17.50 crore bid from Mumbai Indians.
The 16th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will start from 25th march 2023 to 28 May 2023.
