It is believed that government oil companies can cut the prices of cooking gas (LPG Price) in the new year. The price of gas cylinder sometimes spoils the budget of the people. People have been demanding for a long time to reduce the price of gas cylinders. In such a situation, if the prices of cylinders come down, then it can be a great relief for the people.
Let us tell you that Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had also announced recently that cylinders will now be made available to poor families at a cheaper price. This scheme will be implemented from 1 April 2023. From which a cylinder will be available for Rs.500. However, only BPL and poor people associated with the Ujjwala Yojana will be able to take the cylinder for Rs.500.
Know the reason for the price cut
In fact, there has been a huge reduction in the prices of crude oil these days. The benefit of which government oil companies can give to the consumers by cutting the prices of LPG gas cylinders. At present, crude oil is trading around $83 per barrel, while the Indian basket price is around $77 per barrel. Because of which government oil companies can cut the prices of domestic cooking gas.
Rajasthan government is giving cheap cylinder
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has announced that public welfare decisions are being taken continuously by the Rajasthan government to provide more relief to the poor. In this sequence, the state government is coming up with a scheme to provide cylinders to the poor at a cheaper rate.

Due to which they will be able to get 12 cylinders in the whole year. In such a situation, the poor will have to pay Rs 6000 for 12 cylinders at the rate of Rs 500 per cylinder in a year. Which is much less than the normal price. The aim of the Rajasthan government is to reduce the economic burden on the common man in this era of inflation. Because of which many welfare schemes are being run.
