The year 2022 is nearing its end. After two days, the last month of this year i.e. December will begin. Many big changes are going to happen next month, which will directly affect your everyday life. LPG gas cylinder prices may decrease in December. You can file a revised income tax return till 31st December. People getting pensions from the government will have to submit a life certificate under any circumstances. So let’s take a look at these changes in detail –
LPG price change
There may be a change in the prices of domestic gas cylinders on 1 December. After getting signs of softening in retail inflation in the month of October, it is expected that the prices of CNG and PNG may come down. Which will affect the prices of domestic gas cylinders and the prices will be lower. However, it will be known only on the morning of December 1.
Income tax return last date
Those who have not yet been able to file the income tax return for the financial year 2021-22 can file the IT return on December 31 with a fine. If your total income is less than Rs 5 lakh, then you will have to pay a fine of Rs 1,000. On the other hand, if it exceeds Rs 5 lakh, the amount of the fine will increase to Rs 5,000.
Apart from this, the last date for filing a revised income tax return is also December 31. In the meantime, you can get the mistake made in your return corrected. Otherwise, you may get a notice from the Income Tax Department.
It is difficult to get a pension without a life certificate
The last date for submission of life certificates for pensioners is November 30 i.e. tomorrow. In such a situation, if he does not submit the life certificate by the end of this month, then it may be difficult for him to get a pension from the next month i.e. December. Actually, at the end of every month, people getting pensions from the government have to submit their life certificates.
Change in ATM withdrawal process
In view of the increasing incidents of bank fraud, Punjab National Bank (PNB), a large public sector bank, is continuously engaged in improving its system. In this series, the bank has made some changes in the process of withdrawing money from ATMs. Now as soon as you insert your card into the ATM machine, an OTP will be sent to your phone, and you will be able to withdraw cash only after entering it on the ATM screen.
Bank holidays
Banks have only holidays in the month of December. Banks will remain closed for 13 days next month. These holidays include two Saturdays and four Sundays of the month. Apart from this, Christmas and the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singhji are also included.
