7 pilgrims killed, 25 injured, trolley-tractor collide, Check Details Here

According to officials, the pilgrims were going to visit Ramdevra temple in Jaisalmer district in a tractor trolley. Then a speeding trolley hit the tractor. The accident was so severe that seven people died on the spot. The injured have been taken to hospitals in Shivpur and Sumerpur towns, where they are undergoing treatment. All the devotees who were victims of the accident are residents of Banaskantha district of Gujarat.

The Prime Minister’s Office has also expressed grief over the accident. It was said by tweeting on behalf of PMO that the accident in Pali, Rajasthan is heart-wrenching. Our condolences are with the bereaved families in this hour of grief. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.

Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has expressed grief over the accident. He tweeted that the news of the death of many devotees going to visit Ramdevra in Pali district in a road accident is sad. Praying to God to grant peace to the departed souls and strength to the bereaved family members in this grief. Rajasthan BJP President Satish Poonia has tweeted describing the incident as unfortunate. He also appealed to the state government to make some special arrangements for the devotees visiting the Ramdev temple in Jaisalmer.
