Winter vacation 2022 for schools in Jammu region extended till 7th Jan

Srinagar, 4th Jan :Winter vacation 2022: In view of the cold wave, School Education Department Wednesday extended winter vacation for schools in summer zones of Jammu division from till 7th January.
According to an order, a copy of which lies with the news agency Kashmir News Observer (KNO) winter vacation of all government and private schools has been extended till 7th January.
“In view of prevailing inclement weather conditions in Jammu division, the winter vacation of all government and recognized private schools functioning in the region shall observe it upto 7th January ,” it reads.
Earlier, the department had said that the schools in the region shall observe 10 days winter vacation from 26th December to 4th January.
It had further ordered that all teachers shall remain available on demand for any online guidance of students during vacation period.
