Two Killed, 1 injured after vehicles collide in Samba
Srinagar, Feb : At least two persons were killed while another received injuries in vehicles collision near Smailpur here.
Reports reaching Kashmir Scroll said that scooty bearing registration number JK02CM 9884 collided with a car near Smailpur, resulting into on the spot death of two school children and injuries to one another.
The deceased were identified as Ashish Matoo, son of Soma of Teli Basti and Lucky Raj, son of Bodh Raj of Meen Sarkar.
The injured person was evacuated from the site and taken to a nearby hospital, from where he has been referred to a GMC Jammu hospital for preferential treatment.
After conducting autopsy, the bodies of the deceased were handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Meanwhile, Police have taken cognizance of the incident.
