Young doctor from Shopian died due to heart attack yesterday at SKIMS
A resident doctor passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest at the Sher e Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences in Srinagar.
Speaking to The Kashmiriyat over the phone, a family member said, Muzammil Ahmed Wani, 25, son of Ghulam Mohammed Wani, from Nadigam Shopian was found dead under mysterious circumstances at the SKIMS hospital in Srinagar on Saturday morning.
The body was taken for post mortem after which the body was handed over to his legal heirs on Saturday evening.
His death sent shockwaves across the area and hundreds of people reached his residence in Nadigam to participate in his last rites.
As per initial reports, the resident doctor died of a heart attack.
