A court in Shopian on Monday sentenced a teacher to undergo 20 years’ imprisonment, and imposed a fine of Rs 10 lakhs for sexually assaulting a minor girl in the south Kashmir’s district seven years ago.
According to the prosecution, the accused Mohammad Maqbool Ganie, a resident of D. K Pora Shopian assaulted the minor girl while she was in his home for tuition.
