GANDERBAL POLICE ARRESTED A NOTORIOUS DRUG PEDDLER IN THE JURISDICTION OF PP NAGBAL; CONTRABAND SUBSTANCE RECOVERED FROM HIS POSSESSION.

To eradicate the menace of Drugs from the society and taking stringent action against Drug Peddlers, Ganderbal Police apprehended one more Notorious Drug Peddler alongwith Contraband Substance under the jurisdiction of Police Post Nagbal.
The Police Party led by DO PP Nagbal laid Naka at Rangil. While checking, one Celerio Car Bearing Registration No. JK01AQ-9906 driven by Furqan Ashraf Dar S/O Mohd Ashraf Dar R/O Mandibal Nowshera Srinagar was stopped. During interrogation and his personal search, Contraband Substance Bung Patri like substance was recovered and Seized on the spot. The vehicle used in the comission of the crime was also seized and the accused got arrest.
In this regard, Case FIR No. 05/2023 was registered in PS Ganderbal and further investigation has been taken up.
General public has applauded the swift action taken by Ganderbal Police. Crackdown against Drug Peddlers shall continue in future also and legal action will be taken against them.
