Kidnapped lady recovered in Mendhar:- Police
Srinagar, Apr 01 (KS) : Poonch police have recovered a kidnapped lady who has been rescued by team of Mendhar police station of Sub division Mendhar of district Poonch.
A senior police officer told Kashmir Scroll that missing report of lady was lodged in police station Mendhar on 21st of March and after that a case of kidnapping under relevant sections of law was registered in police station Mendhàr.
After registration of case, special teams were constituted at sub division level and after hectic efforts recovered the lady, he said.
After completion of legal formalities missing lady has been handed to legal heirs, he said.
In this connection a case FIR NO 55/2023 under relevant sections of law stand registered and further investigation going on, he said—(KS)
