Saba Karim is impressed with the captaincy of Hardik Pandya in international cricket.
However, he also warned Hardik of the consequences if he continued to show emotions during the matches.
The statement came after Hardik lost his cool on Yuzvendra Chahal and Harshal Patel in the 19th over of Sri Lanka’s chase. While Chahal made a fielding mistake, Harshal conceded 16 runs.
“Hardik needs to focus on his attitude. Everyone likes him as a player. However, if he continues to show emotions as a captain, players will get afraid. I don’t think that’s the right thing for a team to grow. Hardik should trust his players,” he said on India News.
Hardik scored 29 runs and gave away just 12 runs from his three overs.
