Different Colors Number Plates of Vehicle: While coming anywhere on the roads, the number plate of the vehicles will be seen sometimes blue, sometimes yellow, sometimes black, sometimes green.

White number plate
For private vehicles of normal petrol and diesel, white number plates are issued by the Transport Department. On which black appearing numbers are written. These numbers are for personal use vehicles, bikes and scooters.
Yellow number plate
This color number plate is mostly used on commercially used vehicles like auto rickshaws, taxis, trucks, buses, JCBs. Also, to drive vehicles with yellow number plates, the driver must have a valid commercial driving license.
Black number plate
Vehicles with black color number plates are less visible than other vehicles. These vehicles are also used for commercial purposes only. But commercial driving license is not required to drive these vehicles. Cars with black number plates are used for luxury hotel transport.
Green number plate
The number plate of this color has been seen only for a few years now. The number plate of this color has been kept in reserve by the government for electric vehicles. Only green number plates are used on all electric vehicles registered in the country. But private electric vehicles have white numbers on their plates. Whereas for commercial electric vehicles, green number plates have yellow numbers.
Red number plate
This color number plate is issued only temporarily for new vehicles. Until the authority issues you a permanent number.
Blue number plate
The number plate of this color is applied only on the vehicles of diplomats (ambassadors) living in other countries. Some numbers like 10 CC 50 are written in these number plates. In which the full form of CC is Consular Core. Unnumbered vehicles are meant for United Nations employees. Apart from this, the number plate written DC means Diplomatic Corps. On such a number plate, not the number of the country to which it is issued, the diplomats of the country. Only the codes of that country are put on these vehicles.
Arrow number plate
This type of number plate is used only in vehicles belonging to the army. The arrow marks on the number plate of defense vehicles are pointing upwards. Vehicles with such number plates do not have to pay toll.
